Provision of a community drug and alcohol early intervention,
treatment and recovery support for individuals (aged up to **Apply on
the website** years old) and their families in the East Coast Region.
The initial contract award will be for 3 years commencing 1st January

periods of twelve months each.
TENDER DESCRIPTION
The East Coast Regional Drugs & Alcohol Task Force (ECRDATF) invites
proposals from suitably qualified service providers for the delivery
of a Tier-2 Under-**Apply on the website** Drug and Alcohol Early
Intervention, treatment and recovery service for the East Coast Region
i.e. South Dublin and Wicklow (excluding Bray and D?n Laoghaire). For
the purpose of this tender Under-**Apply on the website** is defined
as those who are under **Apply on the website** years of age to
include those in second level education.
The service will be required to provide support and treatment to
under-**Apply on the website** years old who are experiencing
difficulties in relation to their drug and/or alcohol use themselves.
The service will also be required to provide advice, information and
support to service users and their families. The service will be
required to support a range of interventions using a holistic approach
to include assessments, case management and aftercare programmes in
line with best practice to the community, voluntary and statutory
sector. The approach should utilise the National Drug Strategy (NDS)
and National Drug Rehabilitation Framework (NDRF) or similar for work
with individuals and their family members.
It is essential that tender applicants respond to all requirements in
the appropriate manner. Supporting documentation and appendices must
be appropriately cross referenced. Applicants must provide a response
to all requirements, indicating whether they can support the
requirement in full, in part or not at all. The onus is on applicants
to present clear and accurate tenders rather than on the ECRDATF to
decipher mistakes or to interpret information that is not readily
understandable.
The ECRDATF will not be responsible for and may not consider
submissions, which are badly drafted or contain fundamental errors or
omissions. The evaluation will take the form of an initial desk based
assessment of tender submissions against the published award criteria.
Failure to meet any of the mandatory requirements in the tender will
result in a tender being deemed non-compliant. The ECRDATF reserve the
right to seek site visits, clarifications, presentations etc. The
ECRDATF reserves the right to contact any of the reference sites
provided by applicants at its discretion.
